Obituary of Allan James Mudryk
On June 2, 2021 Allan Mudryk passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
Al is loved and remembered by his wife Debbie, children Nicole (Steve) and Zach (Sara), grandchildren Sal, Rhett, Hank and Maine, parents Marshall and Val, sister Cheryl, brothers Leonard and Glenn as well as nieces and nephews.
Al was born in Spokane Washington and lived in many cities including Edmonton, Calgary, Cape Town South Africa, Hudson Quebec and Puerto Escondido Mexico.
As a young man he was both ambitious and hardworking. This drive lead him to a successful career as an entrepreneur. Al owned several businesses throughout his life; both starting his own companies and purchasing existing businesses to grow. He retired as CEO of Royal Caretaking Supplies in 2016 spending summers at the family cabin and winters in beautiful Mexico. His legacy carries on with the success of Royal Caretaking Supplies owned by his son Zach. Al was a strong motivator, fostering ambition in those around him. He supported Nicole in pursuing her dreams of becoming a doctor and propelled Zach to follow in his footsteps of entrepreneurship.
As hardworking as Al was he was foremost a family man. He loved the outdoors and spending time with loved ones, especially his 4 grandsons. Boating, water sports, swimming, quading, dirt biking, snowmobiling, following politics and reading were some of his favourite pass times. Many will remember sharing great laughs and stories around a campfire or deck of cards. He could be quite the jokester and his sense of humour brightened our lives.
In keeping with his wishes Al was cremated and there will be no formal service.
