Obituary of James Gordon Thomson

On Sunday July 4, 2021 Mr. Jim Thomson of Wainwright, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Wainwright Health Center at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen, son Jason (Andrea), daughter Amanda (Jay) and grandchildren Johnathan and Sarah, sister-in-law, Jeri Thomson, and brother Bob (Tracy). He was predeceased by parents, Pearl and Robert; his two brothers, Lorne McBeth and Don Thomson; mother and father-in-law, Marion and Jack Morgan. He is survived by brother and sisters-in-law, Doug and Sonja Morgan, Heather Morgan and Eileen Carey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no official funeral service, however the family will be having a private Celebration of Life at a later date. The family requests any donations be made in Jim’s name to the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton or the CT scanner at the Wainwright Health Center.
