Obituary of Ruth Eileen Erickson

Ruth Eileen Erickson was born October 3, 1923 to Sidney and Dorothy Chandler in Southey, Saskatchewan. As a child she moved to Ribstone, Alberta in 1934. Ruth met her husband, Walter Erickson in 1943 and they were married on July 29, 1944. Ruth passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Wainwright, Alberta on April 10 at the age of 96 years. She will forever be remembered by her children, Joy (Don) James, Brian (Corrine) Erickson, Calvin (Linda) Erickson, Karen (Terry) Worthing; eleven grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Murphy; and brother, Harold Chandler. She was predeceased by her parents, Sidney and Dorothy Chandler, brother, Alfred; sister, Dorothy; and husband, Walter. A private family service will be conducted from the Rosedale Cemetery on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
