My deepest condolences to Robert's family and friends. As a younger cousin, I will always remember how kind Robert was to me. He and my brother Michael were nearly the same age and would hang out whenever we came to visit Aunt Doris and Uncle Elseworth at the farm. Even as an adolescent, Robert would always take the time to talk with me, which meant a great deal to me as a young lad. Though our meetings have become too few and far between as adults, his welcoming spirit and appreciation have always remained. It has been a privilege to have known him. He will be greatly missed. we golfed together, with ed in hinton, played card game s , at ed & margs, had some good meals together, tipped back a few, he was always telling jokes, around robert you were either laughing or you felt good about the visit, great handyman, he wasn;t afraid to tackle any projects, the ripple effect will go on for quite some time, lynn & i feel so sorry for linda ,ed ,& family

I first met Robert many years ago when he was farming north of Hughenden. I was employed by John Deere and made quite a few trips to his farm. Robert was always happy to see you no matter what the circumstances were and always had a big smile. I extend my sincere condolences to his family. Robert was a great guy, and I hope we will all enjoy his smile and laugh again some day.

Dear Robert, will always remember the excellent time we spent together, either in Canada or here in Acapoulco. Your generosity, a man with a heart the size of the Empire State Bulding.
