Obituary of Robert Holmberg

On Wednesday, May 27, 2020 Mr. Robert Holmberg of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Hughenden, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 59 with his loving and devoted wife, Linda at his side. Robert is also survived by two loving daughters, Andrea Holmberg of Edmonton, Alberta and Nicole (Dave) Trevors of Wainwright; his step-son, Danny Martin of Wainwright; four grandchildren, Tristan Scheller, Jade Scheller, Hannah Trevors, Kendall Trevors; one brother, Edward (Margaret) Holmberg of Sherwood Park, Alberta; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Skip (Lynnette) Large of Amisk, Alberta, Richard (Alicia) Mallard of Acapulco, Mexico, Carole (Rick) Lambert of St-Apollinaire, Quebec; as well as numerous other relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Elsworth and Doris Holmberg; sister, Eileen Large. A Private family service will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 1:00 PM from Creech’s Funeral Chapel. Family and friends wishing to participate are welcome to do so via a webcast link. The link will be made available prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Health Foundation CT Scanner Project.
