Gordon phoned and told me the sad news. I recalled growing up with Earl, visiting on the farm, and going through school together. I am glad to have connected with Earl briefly at the reunion this summer. I recall Earl's adventurous spirit on the farm which spilled over to me. How many sisters could we aggravate? How many birds could we kill with a pellet gun? How many pigs could we tackle? How fast could we get the Yamaha to go? We fist fought in Junior High School, like "cousins" are supposed to, then were back to friends immediately. Earl loved to find the next best adventure. I believe he lived that way to the end. I'm reminded of how he helped me, and others, to do the same. Our condolences to the "Prodgers".

Earls Family: My name is Buck Strass. I worked with Earl in Venezuela. I remember Earl when he first come to Ven. as a Driller and seen him climb the ladder to Tool Pusher. Earl and I had a great time working together All we would talk about was family and how he loved his Dodge dart car. But the Love of his kids was most talked about.
