Dear Johnson and Carsell Families, I was very sad to hear of your loss. Donna was a very beautiful and bubbly lady. I always enjoyed meeting her on the street and she would ALWAYS greet you with a warm hello and a inspiring smile. You never walked away without taking on that smile. I loved going to church when I knew that Donna would be singing. Her voice was so sweet and her expression so soft. I was crushed when she was unable to sing at my wedding to make the day perfect. Girls, Your mom had the voice of an angel! I know you already know this, but always remember that that angel will ALWAYS be watching you from above. Giving you strength and guiding you on your way. I truly believe that you were so lucky to have blessed with an Angel here on earth to be your mother. You and your family are with us in our thoughts and prayers, as they have been for a long time. Gerry, Kaylee, Kiana & family: Donna has left us with a tremendous message of Faith, Hope & Love. She will never be forgotten in our hearts and her life has been an inspiration to us all. I remember the skating rink in your back yard in the winter and baseball games in the summer. I remember making donuts, family dinners,card games,skipping and playing with my pogo stick. I remember your coloured chicks, singing and dressing up. I remember how Donna looked at and sang to Gerry on their wedding day and how much love was in her eyes the day they brought Kaylee home. Every memory about the Carsell family is love and warmth. Donna will always have a place in my heart. Donna was an angel from Heaven, her beautiful voice touched so many people everyday of her life. He heart is pure and a soul that no one could ignore. Dear Gerry and family; we are at a loss for words to fully express our sadness and sorrow. For Greg the warm memories of the hours and hours of practise preparing for Theatre 75 trying to appear confident when in reality we were both, Donna and I, trembling in the spotlight. Her angelic voice strong and clear masked her nervousness. Few knew but both Gerry and I were required to keep her words in our pockets while she was on stage, just so she knew they were available. Of course she never needed them, but Donna wanted to be confident. She wanted to have no chance of error and she strove for perfection. Donna wanted to please. She used her voice not to only entertain, but to soothe, inspire and witness to others. She showed her strength and leaves a wide path of warm memories for us to follow. Thank you.

May you take comfort in knowing what a kind soul Donna was. My daugther Rhiannon and one of Donna's daugthers had their tonsils out at the same time. At that time I was a single mom and still one child at home that need his mom too - as Donna was already staying at the hospital she volunteered to help with my daughter too - you have no idea what a relief that was to know Rhiannon was in such good hands with a caring soul.

Gerry and Girls, I am so sorry for your loss. Donna was an amazing woman. Her strength, kind soul, love of life, and love of you her family was always so strong. She was so special to so many. It has been so long since I left Wainwright and it was with her support and friendship that I was able to leave when things were rough in my life. She told me stories about her early struggles in life and the good times early in your marriage, we spent a few late nights at the M.D. office just talking and sometimes just sitting in silence. She gave me strength that I did not know that I had in me. I never got the chance to tell her thank you and for her to see where I ended up in my life. But I know she knew. My last memory of her was the phone call she made to me as I drove out of town, asking if I was ok. I told her I would be. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Kelsey Walton
