Obituary of Patricia Mae Bell

In the early morning of January 25, 2011, Patricia Mae Bell (Milne) passed away peacefully and graciously in Hardisty Health Centre after a short illness. Pat was born on May 26, 1938 in Lamont, Alberta and grew up in Irma, the second of four daughters of Charlie and Annie Milne. She progressed rapidly through her schooling, graduating a year early, and attended one year at U of A before deciding on a business career in Edmonton. Since June, 2009, she had been living in retirement in Hardisty. Pat will always be remembered with love by sisters and brothers-in-law: Charlotte and Lou Golka, Beth and Denis Schmidt, and Mary Lynn Milne; by niece and nephews: Luanne and Dwight Nixon (sons Jarrett, Chad and Daniel), Brian and Eva Golka (daughters Kristie and Anne), Kevin Golka (sons Kavanagh and Grayson), Greg Schmidt (daughter Emily), and Donovan Milne; by special childhood friends Jeannette Lee (Pond), Iris Hurst and Laraine Pond, and many other friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her parents and niece Jill-Ann Schmidt.
