Maynard Roy Anderson

Maynard was Born on July 18, 1930 in Consort, Alberta and Passed away on March 26, 2025 in Calgary, Alberta

Maynard and his wife Emily were married in 1963 and farmed northwest of Vermilion where they raised their three children. They sold the farm in 1991 and moved into Vermilion where they continued to entertain family and friends. Although a man of few words, he liked to joke a bit and would come out with a clever remark. He enjoyed reading his Bible, walking uptown for coffee with the locals, going for a drive through the country to look at the fields and traveling to visit family.

Maynard is lovingly remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Christine and Derek Burnett, his sons Jim Anderson and Danny Anderson, his grandchildren Heather (Adam) Bowers and Allison Burnett, his great-grandsons Felix and Milo and his sister, Rilla Morris, as well as numerous family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Mildred, brothers Leon Lenard, Kenneth and Murray, his sisters Muriel, Mary and Beulah and his dear wife, Emily. 

The family are planning a celebration of life in Vermilion at a later date.
