Obituary of Doris Evelyn Poulstrup

Doris Evelyn Poulstrup (nee Stockwell)

Doris Poulstrup was born October 19, 1930 in Vermilion and peacefully passed away July 27, 2025 at the age of 94 years.  Our mom was an amazing person, full of life with many interests, including painting, yoga, Aquasizes and the ACW. She also volunteered for the RAH Women’s Auxilary right up until a couple of years ago.

Mom was always involved with all four family branches and knew everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries, and you would most often get a handmade painted card.

She is survived by Beverly (Garry) Ingram, George (Myrl) Coulter and Lanis Mosher. Seven grand children, five great grand children and her sister Eileen Goad

Also survived by stepson Finn (Rachel) Poulstrup,  step daughter-in-law Barb Poulstrup and their children and grand children.

Her third family the seven Johnson children, their children and grand children.

Fourth is the Smith Family, Louis a friend from highschool has been her companion, his three children and grand children.

It is with heavy hearts that Doris’s family announces that her stepson Walter Poulstrup passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Mom’s Celebration of Life is September 5, 2025 in Edmonton
