Lionel Blouin

Obituary of Lionel Bruce Blouin

With heavy hearts, the family would like to announce the passing of Lionel Bruce Blouin on January 13th, 2026 at the age of 68.

Lionel was a vibrant, passionate, strong man with the keen talent of being able to fix just about anything. He was a self taught stereo and computer guru, mechanic, electrician, plumber, carpenter and all around handy man. He was an avid car enthusiast, who always said he had driven just about every kind of car. He loved his classic rock, bluegrass and blues music and spent countless hours enjoying it loud enough to make you feel like you were at the concert. He was always happy to provide a few words of advice, help if you needed it, share a drink, and a card game of 21.

Lionel is survived by his wife Sandra (nee Hughes); Two daughters and son; Two grandchildren; Sister Colleen Ross (Blouin); Two nephews, uncle, aunts and many family members from the area.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Doris Blouin (nee Waldorf), as well as his sister Beverly Ankney (nee Blouin).

May we all raise a glass of our favorite beverage in celebration of his life. He will be thoroughly missed and we will always keep him close to our hearts. We would like to thank Creech's Funeral home for all their support to fulfill his final wishes. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
