Obituary of Sage Michael Dylan DeCoteau

We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Sage Michael Dylan DeCoteau on March 26, 2026, at the age of 33 years.

Sage was born to Allen (Shirley) and Shirley (Thomas) DeCoteau in Vermilion, Alberta. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Sage will be lovingly remembered for his many talents; especially his art, music, woodworking and welding projects.

Sage is survived by his parents, Allen and Shirley DeCoteau; sisters, Breann (Lance) DeCoteau and Kristin (Kyle) Powell; nephews, Lennon and Layson; nieces Mazie and Taylor.

Sage was predeceased by his grandparents, Alfred and Rose Mannix, and his nephew Liam Lund.

Per the families wishes, a private service is being held to remember Sage. The family thanks everyone for their support during this difficult time.
