Obituary of Mitchell "Roland" Buchanan

On Wednesday, September 2, 2020 Mr. Mitchell “Roland” Buchanan passed away peacefully in the Harvest Home Long Term Care Facility, Vermilion, at the age of 94 years. Roland will be forever loved and remembered by his Loving Wife Rose Buchanan; Children Allen (Tereena Morelli) Buchanan of Edmonton, Glen (Bev) Buchanan of Vermilion, Brenda (Maurice) Charlton of Czar; Grandchildren Kelly (Calvin), Ryan (Ashley), Regan (Dean), Corbyn (Mikaelae), Coleman (Amber), Callahan; Great-Grandchildren Reece, Sloane, Knox, Carrington, Addison, Emerson; Kay (Bill) Kutney of Kelowna, B.C.; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his Parents Charles and Kate; Brothers Clifford, Lloyd, Raymond, Joe, Russell, Ken; Sisters Eva Dibb, Olive Swellha, Hazel Dallyn, and Verna Hanna; 2 Infant Siblings. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Family Service is being held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 If so desired donations in memory of Roland may be made Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lloydminster S.P.C.A., Central Alberta Humane Society or charity of donor’s choice.
