Obituary of Velma Jean Kennedy

On Thursday, October 1, 2020 Mrs. Velma Kennedy of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 72 years. She is survived by her loving family; three children, Maryann Brown of Czar, Alberta, John Longmire of Wainwright, Monica Couillard of Wainwright; three step children, Travis (Belinda) Kennedy of Wainwright, Lance (Regina) Kennedy of Wainwright, Cindy (Darrin) Hill of Provost, Alberta; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; her mother, Jean Bond of Wainwright; one brother, Henry (Pauline) Bond of Wainwright; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ron Kennedy; son-in-law, Douglas Krause; her father, Raymond Bond. A Graveside service for Velma will be conducted on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donors choice.
