Obituary of Robert Calvin Biensch

Robert Calvin Biensch went to be with his Lord Jesus on Sunday December 27, 2020. He passed away peacefully from complications associated with prostate cancer. He was preceded in death by his brothers John and George and sisters Elsie, Catharine and Lillian. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Marg and his brothers Harold and Roy as well as his children Bill, Tarilee and Sherrie, their spouses, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Bob was born April 24, 1933 and lived his entire life on the Biensch family homestead, Happy Valley Ranch, Artland Saskatchewan. He loved to ranch and raise cattle. Bob loved Jesus and shared his Christian faith with all. He spent countless hours on the phone and miles traveling to pray for those in need, especially serving the native communities in Saskatchewan and Alberta. He will be remembered fondly by his family and friends for his great singing voice and yodeling accompanied by his mandolin or guitar. In keeping with Robert's wishes cremation has taken place an no formal service will be held. If so desired donations in memory of Robert may be made to the charity of of donor's choice.
