Obituary of Joseph "Spencer" Hempstock

On Thursday, March 12, 2020 Joseph “Spencer” Hempstock of Mannville passed away in the Vermilion Health Centre at the age of 72 years. Spencer leaves behind his Loving Wife Sharon Hempstock of Mannville; Children Sheila Koch (Rob Kinsman) of Consort, AB, Heather Hempstock of Rosalind, AB, Heather (John) McKeigue of Calahoo, AB, Carmen (Brett) Miller of Renfrew, Ont, and Lisa Hempstock of Bancroft, Ont; Grandchildren Trey, Brady, and Eric Koch, James Hempstock, Tearin and Teagan McKeigue, Joshua Labram, Danielle Hempstock (Layne Wright), and Jaxon Hempstock; Great Grandchildren Anya Labram and River Wright; Brother Kent (Carol) Hempstock of Vegreville, AB; Step-Father Clifford Windels of Vegreville, AB; as well as his Nieces, Nephews and extended family. Spencer was predeceased by his Father David Hempstock and Mother Olive May Hempstock-Windels; Brother David and his Wife Betty Hempstock; Sisters-in-law Nancy Hempstock and Jane B. Pedersen. In keeping with Spencer’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place at a later date. If so desired the family suggests donations in memory of Spencer may be made to the Vermilion Health Centre, Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, or Mannville Riverview Golf Course.
