Obituary of Colin Earl Plaxton

On Monday, February 1, 2021 Mr. Colin Plaxton of Wainwright, Alberta passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Gloria; three children, Cindy (Mark) Gormley of Wainwright, Bill (Buffy) Plaxton of Wainwright, Cory (TJ) Plaxton of Wainwright; six grandchildren, Matthew Gormley, Brooke Gormley, Kaylie (Travis Fowler) Plaxton, Cole (Tracy Strasser) Plaxton, Connor Plaxton, Taylor Plaxton; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Fowler and Hailey Fowler; one brother, Neil (Eleanor) Plaxton of Wainwright; two brothers-in-law, Allen (Yvonne) Ford of Wainwright; Lorne (Mary) Ford of Lloydminster, Alberta. He was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Betty Plaxton. Keeping with Colin’s wishes a private family service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright. Interment will follow at the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Health Foundation CT Scanner Projtect.
