Obituary of Glen William Dick

On Thursday, April 29, 2021 Glen William Dick of Wainwright, Alberta died peacefully with family by his side at the Wainwright Health Centre’s Palliative Care room. Glen is remembered by his four children, Darryl Dick, Norinne (David) Herbert, Melanie (Shane) Kauppila of Altona, Manitoba, Lana (Bruce) Fowler of Sundre, Alberta; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren along with one brother, Irvin Dick and one sister Evelyn Pinel and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He is predeceased by his wife, Evelyn; one granddaughter in infancy along with several brothers and sisters. The last year of Glen’s life has been filled with some significant health challenges and the family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the caring staff of the Battle River Lodge, the Wainwright Health Centre and a special thanks to the Palliative Care Team. According to his wishes there will be no formal services conducted. If anyone so chooses donations may be made in Glen’s memory to the Wainwright Health Foundation CT Scanner Project or the Wainwright Hospital Palliative Care Room.
