Obituary of Holly Alice Sumner

On Monday, May 10, 2021 Holly Sumner of Irma, Alberta passed away at her home at the age of 60 years. Holly is survived by her daughter, Meghan (Kent) Anderson of Irma; two grandchildren, Brett and Lex Anderson; siblings, Allen Johnson of Irma, Karyn (Don) Simmons of Kinsella, Alberta, Sharon Oracheski of Irma, Wilma (Claude) Gamache of St. Paul, Alberta; her life long companion Kelly McGurran; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin in 2014 and parents, Robin & Dolores Johnson. A private family service will be taking place on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Irma Alliance Church. Interment will follow at the Irma Cemetery. A Celebration of life for family and friends in memory of Holly will be held at a later date. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to STARS, Alberta Lung Association, or the MS Society.
