Obituary of James Harold Kish

It is with great sadness the family of James Harold Kish “Jim” of Wainwright, Alberta announce his passing on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Jim was born and raised in Bashaw, Alberta. He worked on the family farm before starting work at United Grain Growers where he spent his working career before retiring to Wainwright. Jim was a kind person with a loving heart, and especially loved dogs. Jim is survived by his two children; James Kish and Kelsey Kish of Wetaskiwin, Alberta; his sisters; Theresa Davis of Wainwright, Alberta, and Mary Deleeuw of Bashaw, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents; Mary & Joseph Kish of Bashaw, brother, Joe Kish and his wife Polly of Edmonton; sister, Helen and her husband George Gunderson of Camrose, Alberta ; brothers-in-law, Arthur Deleeuw of Bashaw and Ray Davis of Wainwright; two nieces Debra McLean and Karen Mann; as well as his four legged companion Milo. A Graveside funeral service will take place in the near future, Time and date will be updated as they are confirmed. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the SPCA.
