Obituary of Douglas Earl Maddex

On Monday, September 20, 2021 Mr. Doug Maddex of Dewberry passed away at the age of 81 years. Doug is forever remembered by his Loving Companion Ester Bay of Dewberry; Children Greg Maddex of Mannville and Cindy (Darren) Isert of Dewberry; Grandchildren Cody (Sam), Cole, Danielle (Darren), Michael (Sable); 6 Great-Grandchildren Jaxson, Rylan, Ashton, Harlie, Quinnley and Caynen; Ester’s Children Mary Bay, Laurie (Luis) Leote, Rick Bay (Raelene),Victor Podgurny (Kim), Chelsea Bay; Ester’s 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; Brother Ted (Linda) Maddex of Pouche Coupe, B.C.; Sister In-law Debbie Wilflingsider (Maddex) of Vermilion; As well his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends Doug was predeceased by his Wife Elenor Maddex; Infant Son; Parents Maxwell and Helen Maddex; Brother Hedley Maddex Grandsons Charles Maddex and Derik Isert; Great-Grandson Cilus Maddex. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Dewberry Cemetery. If so desired donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or Charity of Choice.
