Obituary of Kay Chanasyk
With cherished memories and hearts grateful for a life well lived, the family announces the passing of Kay Chanasyk on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 in the Lamont Health Care Centre at the age of 97 years.
Kay is survived by her four children: Ernie, Larry (Cathy), Doreen (Pat), and David; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her Husband Steve; Parents Paul and Ksenia Kitt; Siblings Mary, Anne, Michael, Olga, Nick, and William.
A private family service will be held.
Memorial donations can be made in Kay’s memory to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta (16007-118th Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T95 1C7) or Kids with Cancer Society (11135-84th Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 0V9).
