Obituary of Elizabeth Loraine Carrigan

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful sweet mother, Betty Loraine Carrigan, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care in Lloydminster, Alberta at the age of 89 years. To those who knew her, she was truly one of God’s angels. A perfect lady; Pure and honest the kindest heart with caring and loving arms to hold you in. Always thinking of others first. She was clothed with strength and dignity. Betty is survived by her Son Donald M. Carrigan of B.C.; Daughters Valerie Sherman (Warren Playfair) of Kingston, Ont., Jony Carrigan of Lloydminster; Daughter in-law Edith Macumber of Truro, NS; Grandchildren Michael Carrigan of B.C., Shonna Carrigan of Marsden, Jaz (Kim) Greupner of Kitscoty, Shena Greupner (Mike) of Lloydminster, Monica Sherman(Troy Warren) of Ottawa, Ont., Brittany Carrigan (Craig) of Halifax, NS; Great-grandchildren Jordan Sherman, Brooklyn Sherman, Joshua Warren, Tamelia Warren, Ashawna Warren all of Ottawa, Ont.; Jordan Stewart of B.C., Jade Carrigan of B.C., Pryhcia Bauregard of Marsden, SK, Brody Davidson of Lloydminster, Cole Greupner of Kitscoty, AB, Kaybrie Greupner of Kitscoty, AB; Sister Frankie (Norm) Crosby of Truro, NS; Brothers in-law John Robidoux of St. Thomas Ont., Nelson MacKinnon of Truro N.S.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews in Truro Nova Scotia. Betty is predeceased by her loving husband Donald M. Carrigan Sr.; Precious Son Michael Carrigan; Very Loving Parents Cecil and Matilda Johnson; Sisters who she loved dearly and deeply Carrol Redden, Susi Bett, Jean Robidoux, Beverley MacKinnon. My mom will always be the greatest part, of who I am, my soul, my heart, my love. So long my Mom, till we meet in Heaven. Interment for Betty Carrigan will be held at a later date in Truro, Nova Scotia at Terrance Hill Cemetery. Where she will be reunited with her Husband, Donald M. Carrigan and Son Michael Carrigan. “In the Arms of the Angels” If so desired donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Alberta.
