Obituary of Kian Mark Brotherton-Barkley

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected death of a dear son, grandson, brother and friend; Kian Mark Brotherton-Barkley passed away at the young age of 15 years on Saturday, August 12, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. At 15 years of age, we expected to have you with us so much longer; although you were generous and compassionate on the outside, we could not help with the battle within. You will be forever loved and dearly missed by your family in Alberta and in Ontario, your mom & dad, Tanya Zaayer & Roy Barkley; siblings, Ashton, Wyhatt and Autumn;grandma, Linda Corey; grandparents, Shirley, Zaayer and Mel (Jeannie) Barkley; aunt and uncle, MaryLou (Mark) Brotherton; niece, Willow; as well as extended family and some dear friends. Kian was predeceased by his Poppi, Paul Corey; and uncles, Mark Lee Wiebe and Scott Darren Wiebe. A Funeral Service will be held to honour Kian's vibrant, albeit too short, life on Monday, August, 21, 2017, 2:00 pm at Grace United Church with Pastor Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. A time of visiting and remembering will take place to follow the service.
