Obituary of Gerald Allen Iftody

On Wednesday, January 4, 2017 Mr. Gerald "Gerry" Iftody passed away peacefully at the Biggar Union Hospital in Biggar, Saskatchewan at the age of 64 years. Gerry was a well respected and long time employee of the Alberta Treasury Branch. Gerald will greatly be missed by his family: daughter Ashley and grandchildren Avery and Oscar. Sister Sharon Daneliuk (Jim) Rachael (Lawrence) and Kathleen. Brother Lorne Iftody (Lil) Shannon, Sean and Alanna. Sister Margaret Newton (Murray) Chanda (Bob) and Julia; Kylie, Linden and Connor. Sister Mother Photini (Verna) Sister Colleen MacLellan (Tim) Stephen, Ian, Elizabeth and Danielle. Brother Brian Iftody, Brother Michael Iftody (Bonnie) Jessica, Sister June Johnson (FR. DCN Stephen) Hope and Jamie, Special Aunts and Uncles Edie McComb (Orval), Evelyn Flodell (Dale) along with numerous other Aunts and Uncles. Gerald was predeceased by his parents Gordon Iftody (December 28, 1990); his mother Doris Iftody (January 3, 2006); brother David Iftody (July 9, 2004); and very dear cousin Dwain McComb (June 6, 2008). A Celebration of Gerry's Life will be on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Grace United Church, Lloydminster at 11:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gerry may be made to the Biggar & District Health Foundation (Box 130, Biggar, SK S0M0M0) or Pancreatic Cancer Canada (www.pancreaticcancercanada.ca)
