Obituary of Irene R. Ford

On Tuesday, April 17, 2018 Mrs. Irene Ford of Wainwright passed away suddenly at her home at Points West Living at the age of 96 years. Irene is survived by her loving family; three children, Allen (Yvonne) Ford of Wainwright, Lorne (Mary) Ford of Lloydminster, Alberta, Gloria (Colin) Plaxton of Wainwright; six grandchildren, Tim (Catherine) Ford of Calgary, Alberta, Melissa (Randy) Mackenzie of Wainwright, Greg (Carrie) Ford of Lloydminster, Cindy (Mark) Gormley of Wainwright, Bill (Buffy) Plaxton of Wainwright, Cory (Teri-Jane) Plaxton of Wainwright; ten great grandchildren, Kaylie, Matthew, Brooke, Cole, Connor, Taylor, Chris, Kendall, Jake, Caitlin; three sisters, Marie Basso of Wainwright, Lillian Matheson of Edmonton, Alberta, Freada Hanson of the United States. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred in 1999. A funeral service for the late Mrs. Irene Ford will be conducted on Monday, April 23 at 1:00 PM from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery.
