Obituary of James Donald Klasson

On Friday, May 11, 2018, Mr. Jim Klasson of Wainwright, Alberta, passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 65 years. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Janet; two children, Jessica (Martin) Coles of Edmonton, Michael Klasson of Edmonton; two grandchildren, Malcolm and Inga Coles; his step-father, David Nett of Provost, Alberta; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Annette Lapointe of Rimbey, Alberta; five siblings, Hugh (Brenda) Klasson, Kevin (Susan) Klasson, Pete (Sandy) Klasson, Susan (Greg) Wirth, Rita Klasson; Janet's siblings, Viv (Cliff) Longman, Dan (Jacquie) Lapointe, Renee (Mike) Lapointe, Suzanne Hayes, Richard (Tracy) Lapointe, Pat Lapointe, and Nicole (Calvin) Sayer. He was predeceased by his son, Benjamin James Klasson; his parents, Gus Klasson and Betty Nett. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 2:00 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright. Interment will take place at the Provost Cemetery, at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. If so desired the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Lung Association.
