Obituary of Charles Douglas Selte

On Friday, October 5, 2018 Mr. Charles “Charlie” Selte of Paradise Valley passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 79 years. Charlie will be forever loved and remembered by his Children Holly (Glen) Garton, Robin Selte (Brad Tkacik),Cora Linn(Charlie) McCloud, and Trent (Kim) Selte; Grandchildren Shena (Thomas), Tenille, Caylah (Adam), Deborah (Amber), Ryan, Elyssa, Parker, and Aubrie; Great-Grandchildren Remi, Bently, Ty, and Kayden; Special Friend Mary Paysen; Brother Don (Carol) Selte; Sisters Sonia Selte, Mary Nelson, Janet Selte (Ed Dethlefsen), Jean Nelson; Sisters-In-Law Arlene Selte, Betty Selte, Blanche (Claire) Schill; Brothers- In-Law Wayne (Margaret) Wood, Hugh (Shirley) Frazer and Gary; As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his Wife Margaret Selte in July 2017; Parents Martin and Amy Selte; Brothers Carl and Arnold Selte; Margaret’s Parents Clayton VanHollen, Maggie and Clayton Wood; Brothers-In-Law Jerry Kosch, Glen (Bonnie) VanHollen; Niece Roxann Taylor and Nephew Arvin Nelson. A Celebration of Charlie’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at E.H.Walter School Gymnasium, Paradise Valley, Alberta If so desired donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Climb Thru Time Museum, Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of donor’s choice.
