Albert, fondly known to me as the "Rascal". There are some people you become so attached to when working at the Lodge and Albert was one of them for me (worked casual housekeeping). We teased each other back and forth in a fun way -- no hurt feelings. He was an absolute delight! My story for calling him Rascal: One weekend while vacuuming the connection between E wing and the Recreational area my vacuum suddenly quit. Hmm, I thought. It must have unplugged from around the corner. Just before that Albert walked past with a happy Good Morning. Nothing clicked as it appeared as though the extension cord was still plugged in. But HEY!, wait! Albert just walked by!!! Oh yeh, he unplugged the cord and left it handing on the railing to give the impression that the vacuum was still plugged in. YOU RASCAL, I hollered and laughed. After that I was cautious when he was around. Perfect -- I loved his mischievous manner and was flattered he felt comfortable with me. My sincere and heartfelt sympathies to the Tovell family.

We are so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man of God and has left a lasting impression on each one of us. Our dads were good friends and spent many years serving the Lord together at Parkview Alliance Church, the Gideons and, in their later years, at the Lodge. Even though you grieve his passing, we know you can take comfort in knowing that he is now enjoying his eternal reward in heaven with his Saviour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments about Dad. It was a priviledge for him to serve alongside your Albert. They were good friends and supported and encouraged each other with both thoughts and actions. Maybe they have already had a chance to hang out together in heaven
