Obituary of Gordon Wesley DeBord

On Thursday, November 29, 2018 Mr. Gordon DeBord of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Amisk, Alberta passed away at the St. Joseph's General Hospital, Vegreville, Alberta at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce; one son, Randy (Donna) of Lloydminster, Alberta; one brother, Leonard (Audrey) DeBord of Wainwright; three sisters-in-law, Esther DeBord of Red Deer, Alberta, Carol (Erick) Landmark of Provost, Alberta, Janis (Les) Swelin of Sundre, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Almeda DeBord; two brothers, Earl and LeRoy DeBord; one sister, Lillus Leiren; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Ethel Anholt. A Funeral service for Gordon will be conducted on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the Amisk Hall. Interment will take place at the Amisk Bethany Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Amisk Bethany Cemetery, Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Northern Alberta Kidney Foundation of Canada.
