Obituary of Elsie Rees Beeton

On Friday, December 7, 2018, Mrs. Elsie Rees Beeton passed away peacefully at Wainwright Long Term Care, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 92 years. Elsie was born Tuesday, December 8, 1925 at Craigmillar, Alberta; she was the youngest of the two children born to Jack and Florence Walters. Elsie leaves behind her loving son, Allan (Judy); daughter, Myrna; five grandsons as well as their spouses; fourteen great grandchildren; seven great - great grandchildren; and a largely extended family who, will miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her husband, Harold; son, Gerald; son in-law, Bob; parents, Jack and Florence Walters; and brother Worden. Elsie enjoyed each and every visit, and cup of coffee with her many friends. Elsie's family would like to thank the staff at Battle River Lodge as well as Doctor Brilz. A special thank you to all the staff at Wainwright Long Term Care for their kindness, compassion and care shown to mom and family; it is greatly appreciated. A very special thanks to Betty Manning, who was always there for mom. At Elsie's request, no formal services to follow. A private family memorial will be held. If friends so desire, Elsie's family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the S.T.A.R.S air ambulance.
