Obituary of Kathleen Elizabeth Moncrieff

On Saturday, January 22, 2017, Mrs. Kathleen "Betty" Moncrieff passed away at Wainwright Long Term Care Centre at the age of 85 years. Betty is lovingly remembered by her family; two sons, Jim (Sue) Moncrieff and Ted (Tina) Moncrieff; six grandchildren, Lee (Melissa) Moncrieff, Carmen (Jason) Waslick, Darcy (Rachelle) Moncrieff, Blake (Michelle) Moncrieff, Jennifer (Jason) Visser,and Jackie Moncrieff; ten great grandchildren, Katelyn & Justin Moncrieff, Teigan & Cole Waslick, Lucas Moncrieff, Avery Moncrieff; Jesse, Alyssa, Brendan & Nicholas Visser; three brothers, Doug (Julie) Gardner, Allan (Francis) Gardner, Gordon (Irene) Gardner; sisters-in-law, Dell Gardner, Eileen Moncrieff, Pearl Boychuck & Ivy Watson; as well as many extended nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Betty is preceased her husband, Rod (2012); brother, Bob Gardner; sister, Joan Brown; brothers-in-law, Bob Moncrieff, Roy Moncrieff, Bill Moncrieff, Gordon Moncrieff and Nick Boychuck; sisters-in-law; Ruby Dalton and Dorothy Jakubec. A funeral service for the late Mrs. Betty Moncrieff will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Grace United Church. A private family interment at LaPearl Cemetery will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, Memorial Donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Alzheimer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
