What a sadness. Her and husband Albert, had a quaint little house in Vermilion, 12 years ago. I met Albert in Kins restaurant, and we hit it off. He ended up hiring me to help/assist him and Liz re-do the whole backyard, down a hill. We did many levels with construction lawn ties, and also metal skirting around house, tiles downstairs in little north room. I did the sidewalk blocks at the north door, and sided the little shed down the hill on the north side. Both good, hard conscientious workers, and teachers. YOU WILL BE MISSED......love to all your progeny.

Although we did not spend much time together I still have some pretty fond memories that will last forever....like the time she allowed me to drive her farm truck at the age of 13 or 14 and I ploughed straight into one of their fence posts! Poor Uncle Albert when he had to go out and dig a new hole to fix it! I remember Oma being a great cook and she by far made the best Peorogies, however, her pancakes were the worst! This would become apparent to all a month after Wes and I left. Oh the call we received from her the day she found all the pancakes she had made us the entire summer on her neighbors roof! Oma was incredibly hard working, super feisty and loved wining/cheating at boared games (I am sure that’s where my kids get it from). I really felt like she would be around forever and unfortunately took that for granted. She will be forever missed and always remembered. Hope you found your Peace Oma. Love Amanda xoxox
