Obituary of Jean Nelson

On Thursday, April 11, 2019 Mrs. Jean Nelson of Vermilion passed away at the Vermilion Long Term Care at the age of 85 years. Jean is loved and remembered by her husband of 62 years Eric Nelson of Vermilion; children Brian (Harriet) Nelson of Stony Plain, Brent (Charlene) Nelson of Calgary, Jacqueline (Darrell) Katan of Edmonton; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren; brother-in-law Mike Mayowski of Vermilion and her Aunt Isabel (Harvey) Hanlan of Sherwood Park Jean was predeceased by her parents Milton and Eunice Lee and sister Marion Mayowski A Funeral Service for Jean will be held at First united Church, Vermilion on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to the Friends of Vermilion Health Care, Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation (100-119 14 Street NW, Calgary AB) or Parkinson’s Association of Alberta T2N 1Z6 (120, 6835 Railway St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2V6)
