Obituary of Betty Irene Appel

On Saturday, April 27, 2019 Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" I. Appel passed away peacefully at Wainwright Health Centre, Wainwright Alberta at the age of 76 years. Betty is survived by her loving family; her husband, Frank Appel of Wainwright, Alberta; her children, Kenneth (Laurie) Loker of Regina, Saskatchewan, Elizabeth (Russ) Brown of Edmonton, Alberta, Kevin Appel of Wainwright, Alberta and Franklin Appel of Wainwright, Alberta; granddaughter, Chloe Loker; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and cherished friends. She is predeceased by her grandson, Cody Loker. In keeping with Betty's wishes, no formal services will be held. Cremation has taken place at Creech's Crematorium. If friends so desire, the family suggests any memorial contributions made in Betty's name be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, STARS Air Ambulance, or to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
