Obituary of Muriel Ralphina Thurston

On Wednesday, June 19, 2019 Mrs. Muriel Thurston of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her two sons, Allan of Irma, Kent (Maureen) Gulbraa of Irma; her grandchildren, Jesse (Krista) Gulbraa, Karly (Mitch) MacKay, Lance (Jessica Ohm) Gulbraa, Brendon (Alana Hermsen) Gulbraa, Meagan (Byron) Bidulka, Travis (Melissa) Gulbraa; ten great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Deborah (Ken) Burton and their children, Shelby and Paige; her siblings, Ted (Doreen) Hill, Stan Hill, John (Suzanne) Hill, Aletha (Hugh) Tomlinson, Mina Dyck. She was predeceased by her first husband, Knute Gulbraa; her second husband, Ivor Thurston; son, Brian Gulbraa; two sisters, Mildred Code and Marilyn Lockhart. A Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 1:30 PM from the Irma United Church, Irma with Pastor Ed Roste officiating. Interment will follow at the Sharon Lutheran Cemetery.
