On behalf of Sylvia's nursing class of 1959B, from Saskatoon City Hospital, my sincere condolences to her family. I remember our training days, Sylvia was the only one who owned a car, probably in our 3rd year...made her popular! Kae Waters, Swift Current, Sk.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to all of Sylvia's family.
Some of the best memories of my life were created in the presence of Sylvia (mostly connected with curling escapades!) She was a great mentor, friend and neighbour and will be missed.

Sincere sympathy to Sylvia's family. I remember her from my early school days in Marsden as being one of the "older girls" we looked up to as good athletes. And later enjoying watching her curl and bonspiel with us in Lloydminster. She is loved and will be missed by many.

Bill and I send sincere sympathy to Sylvia's family. I feel honoured to have known her as a friend and competitor in golfing and curling. Sylvia was very skilled at the games she chose and a tough competitor. She never once let her competence go to her head and was always a fun loving good sport. Sylvia will be sorely missed. Be kind to yourselves and remember Sylvia with fondness. She was loved.

Cliff and I send our deepest sympathy to Sylvia's family. I will treasure my memories of our travels together to golf tournaments, SSFA Provincial and National tournaments. SSAI bowling tournaments in P.A. She was a great competitor. We also went to Swift Current to the Ladies world curling and Moose Jaw to watch the Junior Provincial. She was a great friend and I am a better person for knowing her. Cliff and Doreen Hope.

Larry and I have many treasured memories of Sylvia, good times and lots of laughter! We will miss her smiling face at the Lashburn Golf Course and her good natured complaining about "who placed a flag there?!"
Our thoughts and prayers to the family . Sylvia will be busy organizing some sort of tourney in the Heavens!

Well Miss Sylvia.... Your memory will be one of fondness and a love of the sport of golfing. I think you golfed in our foursome the very first tournament I ever entered...... likely thirty years ago.... Thank you for letting me know so many of the rules of golf and the etiquette that went with the game... ( don't pull that cart across the green ! hahaha... AND.. NO you can not trample the grass down in front of your ball ! ) We had some great laughs ! Thank you, I will miss seeing you out there golfing.... now you can golf with the very best, every day, in warmth and sunshine... RIP Sylvia. ! To your family I send my most Sincere Condolences... the world is now short one great lady and golfer.
Shirley Vick..
