Obituary of Joan Shirley Watt

On Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 Mrs. Joan Watt of Wainwright, Alberta passed at the Wainwright General Hospital, Wainwright at the age of 71 years. Joan is survived by her loving husband, Verne Watt of Wainwright; seven children, Glen (Jan) Abernethy of Wainwright, Ray Abernethy of London, Ontario, Wayne Abernethy of Wainwright, Debbie (Pat) Smith of Wainwright, Wendy (Arnie) Ebeltoft of Wainwright, Mark (Lisa) Abernethy of Wainwright, Heather (Tim) Beane of Wainwright; eighteen grandchildren, Matt, Kyla, Devon, Dana, Trevor, Travis, Jennie, Shawna, Daniel, Kristin, Nadine, Kayla, Jessica; four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Amber, Leah, Keenan; six step-children, Tom (Lanna) Watt of Hardisty, Alberta, Keith Watt of Lacombe, Alberta, Eldon (Caralee) Watt of Wainwright, Stanley Watt of Islay, Alberta, Darwin Watt of Consort, Alberta, Dorinda (Mike); ten step-grandchildren, three sisters, Louise (Nelson) Meyers of Calgary, Alberta, Max (Pauline) Sheffield of Edgerton, Alberta, Helene (Russell) Greer of Wainwright as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents.
