Obituary of Dennis Wayne Stafford

Dennis Wayne Stafford passed away at the age of 73 years on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the University of Alberta Hospital. Dennis leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, June; sons, Allen (Michelle) Stafford, Clair (Linda) Stafford, and Shane (Kris-Andra) Stafford; and daughter, Erin (Alex) Rezansoff, along with their children; as well as mother in law, Kay Lagacé and many extended relatives and friends. Dennis was always passionate about his work. He was a successful business man and an avid volunteer within the hockey community. He was forever involved in the many sporting activities of his wife and children and was their biggest fan. Dennis was predeceased by his sons, Brian and Rick; sister, Audrey; parents, Russell and Claire Stafford; and father-in-law, John Lagacé. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, April 6, 2017, 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright, AB with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating and interment to follow at Wainwright Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to S.T.A.R.S. or Canadian Lung Association; see links to the websites below.
