Obituary of Alwyn Amos Wilkes

On Saturday December 5, 2009 Mr. Alwyn Wilkes of Lloydminster passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 91 years. Alwyn was predeceased by his loving wife Cecilia Wilkes (nee Zwack), and his brothers Melvin, Jack & Bill. He is loved and remembered by his sisters: Dorothy (Sid) Bexson of Sooke, BC, and Audrey (Leonard) Vallee of Edam, Saskatchewan and his sister-in-law Irene Wiles of Leduc, Alberta as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Alwyn will be conducted from St. John's Minster Anglican Church, Lloydminster on Monday, December 14th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Canon Michael Stonhouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. Donations in memory of Alwyn may be made to the charity of your choice.
