Obituary of Robert Borden Jackson

On Saturday April 23, 2001 Mr. Bob Jackson of Wainwright and formerly of Edgerton passed away at the Wainwright Health Care Centre at the age of 94 years. Bob is loved and remembered by his children: Carole Semkowich of Edmonton (Bernie Sherwin of Elk Point), Rodger (JoAnne) Jackson of Cold Lake and Doug Jackson of Edgerton (Diane Hutchinson); Grandchildren: Spencer Semkowich (Noemie Valois), Matthew Semkowich (Trish Tripp), Dale (Jane) Scott, Darren Scott, Rick Scott, Steven (Lorna) Jackson, Kyla Jackson, Brendan, Brett and Taylor Jackson; 5 great grandchildren: Torrie, Coal, Katerina, James and Jon. He was predeceased by his Wife Marjorie (Peggy) Jackson, Daughter Pat Scott, Grandson Glen, son-in-law Leo Scott and his sisters Marion and Evelyn. A Funeral Service for Bob will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Edgerton Agricultural Hall, Edgerton, Alberta with Reverend Lois Burwash officiating. Donations may be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Edgerton United Church.
