What a wonderful lady Hazel was...what a impact she has made on many people. She was "Nani" to our 3 children at the Wainwright Daycare Centre, and we intrusted her with our precious children for many years. All 3 of them have very fond memories of "Nani"...and I am so glad that she played such a important role in their lifes.She will be missed by many...but the morales and values that she taught many children will be passed on in years to come.

Hazel and Bennie became my my lost cat's saviours in 2000. Since that time Hazel and I have chatted many times if we encountered each other during downtown errands. I thought she was an adorable individual. Sympathy to her family and friends, who will surely miss her greatly.

Our sinere sympathy to all of Hazel's family members. Anne has very fond childhood memories of attending birthday parties at the Arneson household. Hazel was a very special lady and always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone. Our children were privileged to know her as "Nanny" and have wonderful memories of her. Our most heartfelt condolences go out to the Arneson families. Hazel was a wonderful part of our lives when our children attended the Wainwright Childrens Centre in the early 90's. She then became a welcome and cherished part of our lives when she offered herself to come into our home every other week and take care of our kids for two years when she retired from the Cildrens Centre. Dear Marilyn, Pauline, Anne, Cal and Dwayne,and family- our sincere condolences on our loss. Hazel & Benny and family were so much a part of our family since the 60's. We feel so privileged to have so many wonderful memories. We were so glad that Hazel was able to come to Victoria to see her 'adopted family' all grown up.
