Obituary of Wendell Grannum

On Monday March 18, 2013 Mr. Wendell Grannum of Carvel, Alberta and formerly of Fox Creek, Rainbow Lake, Lloydminster and Trinidad passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 73 years. Wendell is loved and remembered by his wife Rosalind of Carvel, Alberta children: Wendy Grannum-Chanski of Fort Saskatchewan, Lystra (Ivan) Doucette of Islay, Brian Grannum (Yvonne Jean) of Drayton Valley, Mecell (Richard) Pilon of CFB Cold Lake, Marcia Smith (Dwight Hall) of Maidstone, Saskatchewan, Sam (Korie Grannum of Lloydminster, 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; his siblings Monica Brereton, Sidwell Grannum and Merle Henry as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Elmina Grannum, sister Hyacinth Grannum and brothers Charles and Kenneth Grannum. A Funeral Service for Wendell will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at St. John’s Anglican Church, Lloydminster at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Wendell may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
