Obituary of Eileen Patricia Martin

On Wednesday, November 20, Mrs Eileen Martin of Vermilion passed away at the Vermilion Health Care Complex at the age of 84 years. Eileen is lovingly remembered by 5 Sons: Gerald (Sherry), Murray (Lil), Denis (Carolyn), Anthony (Marion), Randy (Sheri) 5 Daughters: Patricia (Colin) Minish, Maureen (Mike) Mooney, Geretta (Arch) Partington, Bernadette (John) Norris and Majella (Allan) Chase Daughter-in-law JoAnne Martin 30 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren and many other cherished family members and friends. Sister and brother-in-law Fin (Thomas) Martin, Brothers and sisters-in-law Betty, Catherine, and Ann McCormack, Nellie, Sarah, Mary and Jeannie Martin, Pat, Bernard (Edith), Maurice (Lois) Martin. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Jimmy, son Keith, daughter–in-law Joan Martin, parents Denis & Susan McCormack, parents–in-law James and Sarah Martin, sister Kathleen Brake, brothers Denis, Patsy, Jim, Eamon and Conn as well as numerous in-laws & family members. A Prayer Service for Eileen will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Vermilion on Sunday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church on Monday, November 25, at 12:00 noon with Father Roger Rouleau officiating. Interment will follow in the Vermilion Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Eileen may be made to Keith Martin Feed the Hungry (C/O St. Jerome’s School), Friends of Vermilion Health Care or charity of choice.
