Obituary of Elsie Viola Swanson

On Thursday, January 2, 2014 Mrs. Elise Swanson of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and formerly of Chauvin, Alberta and Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Rocky Mountain House Health Centre at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her loving family; three children, Bart (Karen) Swanson of Chauvin, Christina (Frank) Papaianni of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Ben (Michelle) Swanson of Rocky Mountain House; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her siblings, Bill (Gertie) Gibbard, Bob Gibbard, Lucy Bowman, Jim (Shirley) Gibbard, Harry (Betty Lou) Gibbard, Albert (Jean) Gibbard, Rosemary (Don) Wicks; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill; brother-in-law, Ray Bowman; sister-in-law, Jean Gibbard; as well as Bill’s siblings.
