On Sunday, April 20, 2014 Mr. Mel Carpenter passed away at his home in Lloydminster at the age of 86 years. Mel is survived by his loving wife Win of Lloydminster His step children: Pat (Jim) Spence of Spruce Grove, Alta. Joan (Bill) Chiverton of Edmonton, Alta. Ken (Barb) Marquardt of Victoria, Murray (Jana) Marquardt of Vancouver, B.C. Bob (Jule) Marquardt of Red Deer, Alberta. 2 sisters Lois Reinbolt of Calgary, Alta. Eileen Rusu of Calgary Sister in Law Janet Carpenter of Edmonton Numerous Nieces and Nephews He was predeceased by his Parents John and Gota Carpenter; Brothers Lyle, Leonard, and Gerald Sister Lorna Bottrell
