Dear Yvonne, Craig, Susie, Nikayla, Tanner, Tyler, & Kirk; It still does not seem possible that Uncle Art is gone. His hearty laugh lingers in our ears as if we have just heard it. We can see his enormous smile and the twinkle in his eyes and instinctively brace ourselves for a witty remark. He was a great man. Talented, resourceful, kind hearted, generous, warm. Our condolences to the Crichton Families. Been a long time and a lot water gone by but I still have many memories of time spent with the family. From meals there, to overnighting there, to Art and Bryan showing me how to hind foot the calves. Got to have a long chat with Art a few years ago on the topic of public works activity. We had both gone in that direction and just like talking farming in the old days we could go on a long time in municipal stuff. Again a lot of good memories of Art and our sympathy to the family. Dear Yvonne, our condolences to you and the Crichton families. A lot of good memories going back to the late 60's when we worked together for the Department of Highways in Taber, Cochrane, and Fort MacLeod, and our wonderful trip together to the Yukon and Alaska in 2012. Probably as good on the barbecue as anyone we know. Our memories and his talents are probably best summed up by the words of "Darren,Darcy,Thomas & Madeline" below.
