Obituary of Donald Richard Redmond

On Saturday, May 24, 2014 Mr. Don Redmond of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Battle River Lodge, Wainwright at the age of 91 years. Don is survived by his loving family; his daughter, Dixie (Rod) Bowen of Edgerton, Alberta; two grandsons, Joshua and Caleb Bowen; his siblings, Eleanor Martin of Bakersfield, California, William (Thelma) Redmond of Wainwright, Louise Gant of Calgary, Alberta; his brother-in-law, Ernest Casselman of Wainwright; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Frances; one son, Darcy; one sister, Margaret Leavitt. A funeral service for the late Don Redmond will be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Wainwright with Reverend Ann Marie Nicklin officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Prairie Rose Seniors Centre, Wainwright or to the Royal Canadian Legion.
