Obituary of Arnold Joseph Christensen

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 Arnie Christensen of Chauvin, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 54 years. Arnie is survived by his wife, Tracey of Chauvin; his mother, Jean (Bill) Mansfield of Wainwright; his mother-in-law, Cathy (Gord Groat) Tipler of Hinton, Alberta; his father-in-law, Don Pollard of Chauvin; one brother, John (Sherry) Christensen of Irma, Alberta; one sister, Joan Christensen of Stony Plain, Alberta; two sisters-in-law, Gerri (Keith Johnson) Pollard of Edgerton, Alberta, Avery (Damon) Zajic of Edgerton; eight nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Arnold. A Funeral service for the late Arnie Christensen will be conducted on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Arnie be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
