Obituary of Steve Pioker

On Wednesday, December 24, 2014 Mr. Steve Pioker of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at Points West Living, Wainwright at the age of 92 years. He is survived by; five children, John (MaryAnn) Pioker of Hardisty, Alberta, Stan (Heather) Pioker of Wainwright, Dale (Pam) Pioker of Wainwright, Linda (Brad Nilson) Pioker of Metiskow, Alberta, Beth (Larry) Robinson of Wainwright; eleven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; one brother, Roy Pioker; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pioker, Pearl Reed, Dora Fitzpatrick; one brother-in-law, Ivan Fitzpatrick. Steve was predeceased by his wife Awilda on June 14, 2014; two brothers; as well as numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Funeral Service for the late Mr. Steve Pioker will be conducted on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Community Health Foundation (Palliative Care on memo line).
